Reza Arzegar, DDS

Dr. Reza Arzegar is a board-certified pediatric dentist who also provides orthodontic care at Longhorn Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics in Austin, Texas.

After earning his undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2004, Dr. Reza completed an advanced two-year specialty program in pediatric dentistry in Jackson, Mississippi. He also completed a two-year orthodontic training program and earned certification through the Academy of GP Orthodontics.

Dr. Reza began practicing dentistry in 2006. After working at pediatric dental practices throughout Texas and California, he returned to Austin in 2009 and joined Longhorn Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics in 2015.

Over 20 years of practice, Dr. Reza has completed thousands of pediatric restorative, extraction, baby tooth pulp treatment and hospital dentistry cases, as well as hundreds of orthodontic and clear aligner cases. His broad experience allows him to provide a wide range of dental and orthodontic care for children and adolescents within one practice.

Dr. Reza has completed thousands of hours of continuing education after dental school, including extensive training in pediatric restorative dentistry and orthodontics. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is frequently trusted by families referred by other patients and healthcare providers.

Dr. Reza is committed to staying current with advances in pediatric dental care and technology. He uses tools such as digital X-rays, intraoral cameras and digital impressions to support diagnosis, treatment planning and communication with families.

Patient comfort remains central to his approach because he understands that many children feel anxious about dental visits. His goal is to help children of all ages, along with their parents, feel informed and at ease throughout their care.

When he is not working, Dr. Reza enjoys spending time with his two children, Emma and Noah. His hobbies include traveling and watching movies.
